Sturgis Entertainment - Since 2004 Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s Pitchfork Fondue Has Been a Can't Miss Event

NOTE: This Fondue is ONLY AVAILABLE for our Sturgis campers and Sturgis concert attendees. You MUST already have admission into the Chip to participate in this fondue! A fondue ticket alone will NOT get you into the Chip.

In the legendary Buffalo Chip's tradition of providing only the best, the Chip presents the best grub and traditional western experience you'll find 'round these parts. This unique and mouth-watering culinary experience will be one of your most favorite Sturgis Rally memories you'll tell your buddies about when you get back home.

Many of the folks who work at the Sturgis, South Dakota wear chaps of a different variety the other 51 weeks out of the year. Folks who work in fields and on the range don't leave the table hungry. No one at the branding parties, barbecues, cookouts, campouts and backyard BBQ’s leave the table or corral hungry. From these traditional feasts comes the fine-tuned outdoor phenomenon of The Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s Pitchfork Fondue.

Your cowboy chefs, all from the high plains around Sturgis, South Dakota, prepare your steaks with a special secret cowboy-chef blend of oils and seasonings that's been handed down from generations of the pioneers that came before us. These cowboy chefs, right before your very eyes, will take a big ol’ slab of prime, ranch-raised beef steak, poke it on the end of a pitchfork, then sear it in a custom-made tank full of specially blended savory oils. The searing seals in the meat's juices and keeps the oils outside. It’s an unbelievable western delight. You can't find a more tender or delicious steak anywhere!

Of course, the SturgisRally experience doesn't stop there. Your meal is accompanied with all the stuff you'd expect a bunch of horseback weary cowboys to demand at the end of a day's ride, including a big baked potato with sour cream (help get those arteries back into shape,) beans (you may have to sleep outside the tent), a fresh fruit salad for a little variety (just a little something to drive those beans home!), and a hefty bun to sop up all those juices left on the plate. And, all this will be served up by people dressed in the gear they ride in.

The steaks require special preparation, so we serve by advance reservations only, which means you've got to let us know now that you'll be showing up. Reservations for the Sturgis Rally are limited and we know you're going to want to try this -- especially after you smell it! (Way more appetizing than a burn-out.)

So, RESERVE NOW. We absolutely won't be able to take walk-up business (we're not kidding). Pitchfork Fondue will be served daily at 7 p.m., so you can ride all day, return to  the best steak dinner on Planet Earth (along with a dinner show at the barn) and be startin' to feel those beans about the time the Sturgis rally headliner entertainment starts.
