Want to help decide which bands become part of the lineup of Sturgis concerts at the Best Party Anywhere™? Starting Monday, March 31, you will be able to do exactly this with the official launch of the Buffalo Chip’s new online band submission platform, The Big Sturgis Gig!

This new interactive website will allow you to explore the profiles of bands interested in playing on the Chip’s stages during the 2014 August music festival. Big Sturgis Gig band profiles will feature mp3s, videos, photos and bio information. There will be plenty of cool content for you to discover and explore, because these bands are vying for an unbelievable prize: a full-length set on the Chip’s Wolfman Jack Main Stage opening for some of the biggest names in music, not to mention $10,000 in cold hard cash!

Here’s how you can help bands win…When you’ve found a band you’d like to see perform, cast your vote for them and share their profile with friends on your social networks. Every time you interact with a band’s profile, they’ll earn valuable points! You can cast up to five votes per day, and you get to decide how to use them. Cast all five for one band or spread votes out among your top picks.

Voting will end June 30, after which the Buffalo Chip’s celebrity judging panel will review the 10 highest-scoring bands on the Big Sturgis Gig Hot List and choose one to win the grand prize. Remember, even bands that don’t win a spot on the main stage can be chosen to perform on one of the Chip’s showcase stages, and the bands with more points are sure to have a better chance of getting noticed.
